South Kohala Coast Residence – South Kohala Coast, Isle of Hawaii, Hawaii
A natural site where we incorporated the unique spirit of the land into the concept. A private residence situated along the South Coast of the Isle of Hawaii.
The design of this home is contemporary, clean, and understated. Exterior materials, including coral stone, integral colored plaster, and naturally finished western red cedar give the house a quiet, reserved feel.
The careful placement of individual hales and gardens on the double lot creates a sense of place within the existing lava flow.
