One Yalong Bay – Sanya, China
This residential resort community is designed to provide an intimate alternative to the larger, branded hotels on Hainan Island.
We were engaged to lead the planning and architectural efforts for a new high-end master-planned community on a 100-acre property in Sanya.
The project includes a 200-key boutique hotel, a health spa, luxurious dining experiences, a member’s clubhouse, sales offices and a variety of single-family estates and villas.
Taking advantage of the unique characteristics of the land, typified by rolling hills and valleys, this new community is positioned to redefine the top end of the resort residential market in Yalong Bay.
Our design concept is to create a resort community that is a tropical mountain sanctuary, with a contemporary character appropriate to the environs, and differentiated from the larger hotel and resort properties in the region.
