The home consists of two simple shapes utilizing practical building forms. The two-story classic barn styling for the living areas, while the garage, storage, and terrace areas take their lead from low-slung ranch outbuildings.

The grey-black stained wood exterior and dark-grey metal roof harmonize beautifully with the coloration of the Aspen trees of this river valley. Native Riparian plantings are used around the home to blend into the environment, promoting wildlife and a healthy forest.
