Mark de Reus, as Senior Vice President with the BAR design team, was the managing architect for the design of these two 70,000-square-foot clubhouses, each on a signature 18-hole golf course within this 3,000 acre mountain ranch alongside the Napa Valley, California. One course was expected to be private, the other semi-private, catering to the Japanese market.
The architectural design concepts were inspired by the great lodges of the West, such as Awahnee, in Yosemite, and the North Rim Lodge at the Grand Canyon in Utah.
