Designed by Mark de Reus while he was Senior Vice President with BAR, this conference facility was part of a newly planned 4,000-acre rural property located between Hayward and Pleasanton in the Bay Area of California.
The lodge incorporated a 7,000-square-foot restaurant, several large meeting rooms and the center’s administration offices. The 3,700-square-foot main hall, with a multi-purpose auditorium, was designed to accommodate up to 600 people.
The four guest lodges house 168 hotel guestrooms; and the two executive conference centers have six additional guest suites as well as central living/dining space. Twenty individual villas complete the main lodging facilities. A 10,000-square-foot recreation building was designed as a shared amenity for the hotel and residences.
