Architecture (including Interior Architecture); Construction Management
Located on an upper property within the venerated Mauna Kea Resort, on the island of Hawaii, the design of this home was tailored to client desires for a tropical residence with traditional sensibilities.
Water features are integral within the architecture and livability of the home.
Natural finish materials were chosen for their contribution to the architectural character and durability. Exterior materials consist of low profile flat clay tile roof shingles, exterior walls of driftwood stained cedar shingles, integral color cement plaster and textured coral stone.
