The spa and pools at Kukio are housed in open-air pavilions amongst lush garden settings.
As a part of the coastal Beach Club “village” of Kukio, the spa pavilions include state-of-the-art amenities. The main fitness area has a wrap-around lanai overlooking the ponds and ocean; treatment rooms with individual gardens were designed to optimize chi energy.
The yoga and spinning pavilion is oriented to the lap pool, while open-air locker rooms are oriented to surrounding tropical water gardens.
Mark de Reus was Principal in charge for Hart Howerton, the Executive Design Architect.
