Associate, Senior Architect

Eric has a rich 27 years of experience in a broad range of projects including hospitality and residential work in the US and overseas.

Prior to joining de Reus Architects, Eric was the senior design director for GA Design Consultants, working internationally on the Sheraton Grand Conakry in Guinea and the Wagholi Residential Tower in India. Prior to that, he ran his own architectural practice in California after starting his career with famed hospitality design firm Killingsworth. There he worked on the design of several significant hotels and resorts in Hawaii, Arizona, Japan, France and Saudi Arabia.

Now based in Waimea, Eric’s responsibilities include: design, project management, client and consultant coordination, detailing, code research and specifications.

As the project manager for the Makena Golf & Beach Club, Eric is leading the design team and assisting with developing construction details and documentation.

A graduate of the University of Oregon, Eric has a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture degree and is a licensed architect in three states.
