Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for designers and architects with a combination of design and technical abilities who can work both independently and collaboratively. Ideal candidates will have experience with both new construction and renovation along with a proficiency in Revit or AutoCAD and graphic design software tools (Adobe applications). Individuals are expected to have experience putting drawing sets together at all stages of design and documentation, as well as coordinating consultants and project teams/deadlines.

Senior Architect

The award winning firm of de Reus architects is accepting resumes for Senior Architect in our Sun Valley, Idaho, Waimea, Hawaii and Wailea, Maui office. This position requires a minimum of 10 years of residential experience and a B.S. or B.A. in Architecture, along with a strong background in high-end residential and hospitality work. We are interested in an individual who has developed well-rounded abilities that include a good sense of design and thorough understanding of construction detailing. The candidate must be friendly, collaborative, and have excellent communication skills. A high level of proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and other 3D visualization software tools are required.

Intermediate Architectural Designer

Our Sun Valley, ID, Waimea, HI and Wailea, HI offices of de Reus Architects, Inc. are accepting resumes for a Intermediate Architect with a minimum of 6 years of residential experience.

Background or an interest in high-end residential and hospitality design is preferred.  This individual must be able to contribute to the detailed preparation of design and construction documents, incorporating 2D data, materials, drawings and documents in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and 3d Modeling.   They must also be able to perform and complete work on defined segments of a project, after initial and periodic interaction with Principals and organize own work efforts within that framework.

We are seeking an individual who is interested in working on all phases of architectural work, is motivated, focused, friendly and able to effectively collaborate within a project team.  Design sensibility, teamwork and communication skills are essential.  High proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, 3D modeling and graphic design software tools are required for this position.   It is expected that the individual has experience applying these tools to carry out all phase of project delivery.  This position requires a B.S. or B.A. in Architecture.

Junior Architectural Designer

Our Sun Valley, ID, Waimea, HI and Wailea, HI offices of de Reus Architects, Inc. are accepting resumes for a Junior Architect with a minimum of 3 – 5 years of residential experience.

A strong background in graphic design and background in or an interest in high-end residential and hospitality design is preferred.  We are seeking an individual who is interested in working on all phases of architectural work, is motivated, focused, friendly and able to effectively collaborate within a project team.  Design sensibility, teamwork and communication skills are essential.

High level of proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and InDesign, SketchUp, Microsoft Office, WordPress and other 3D rendering programs.   Responsibilities include assisting in the layout, population and revisions; designing and producing custom publications, including project books, portfolios, proposals, brochures, presentations, case studies, digital and web-based publications, advertisements, awards submissions, posters, maps, and other collateral materials.

Administrative Assistant

Our Sun Valley, Idaho office of de Reus Architects, Inc. is accepting resumes for an Administrative Assistant.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Greet and assist clients and visitors
• Answer, screen and direct incoming calls received on the main telephone line
• Carry out administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, faxing, binding and scanning
• Prepare and edit business communication documents, including memos, meeting minutes, transmittals, letters and reports
• Maintain the filing system, both electronic and physical
• Pickup office mail and parcels from the post office
• Manage incoming and outgoing mail/parcels/deliveries; including preparation of labels and parcels
• Assist with travel arrangements for the president and team such as booking flights, ground transportation, hotel and restaurant reservations
• Process office expense receipts
• Assist in scheduling and coordinating meetings for clients, president, project team and holiday events
• Schedule online video and audio meetings, as requested
• Provide support for client and internal office meetings, presentations, and events with conference/video, conference room setup, materials, supplies, coffee, food/beverages and other coordination as needed
• Order/pick up/coordinate delivery of meals and beverages for president, clients, project meetings, team meetings and holiday events, as requested
• Maintain inventory and order supplies for the office, kitchen and restroom
• Manage general office furniture, fixture and equipment, call and coordinate for repairs and maintenance as needed
• Track and log the partner’s vehicle mileage
• Update Microsoft and other databases with company and marketing contacts
• Ensure studio, kitchen, conference room, library and restroom are safe and presentable at all times, coordinate for additional cleaning services as requested by management

Qualifications
